IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam Centre

IBPS keep a lot of examination centre for IBPS CLERK exam across the country. Every candidate will have an option of selection choice exam centre while filling up online application form.

IBPS Clerk 2017 Online Application

All eligible candidate who wants to join in the clerical post is required to register online for the Common Recruitment Process (IBPS Clerk 2017 CWE – VII).

Candidates can only apply online starting from August 2017 to September 2017. There is no other mode of application except online application.

  • Scan your photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (dimension as 4.5cm × 3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given in official Advertisement.
  • Check all the necessary detail and documents. Keep them ready before the payment of online application fees.
  • You got to have a valid personal email ID. This email ID is the only point of contact from IBPS for receiving call letters for the Examination etc. If you do not have any personal email ID, then create one and maintain it up to the end of the selection process.

Procedure of Applying Online

  1. Candidates shall go to the IBPS official website and register their application by entering necessary details.
  2. Candidates shall upload their photograph and signature as per the IBPS official guidelines.
  3. Candidates are advised to carefully fill the details in the online application as no change in data will be entertained at a later stage.

Step by Step Process to Apply 2017 Clerk Online Application Form

Mode of Payment

  1. You can make the online payment by using all Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, Mobile Wallets.
  2. The successful completion of the transaction will generate an e-receipt.
  3. You are required to take the printout of the e-receipt and the online application form.
  4. The candidate should ensure the particulars filled in are accurate and retain it along with Registration Number and Password for future reference.

Important Note: You should not send application printout to the IBPS or any Banks. Also, do not wait for the last date of filling the online application form as sometimes IBPS official website experience heavy traffic and jam due to the high volume of applicants.

IBPS Clerk 2017 Application Fee

You have to pay online the Application Fees or the Intimation Charges in between last week of July 2017 and Mid-August 2017 (CWE PO/MT-VII Notification period).  The total application fee is as follows:

  • Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
  • Rs. 600/- for all others

Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of Application fees will have to be borne by the candidate.

You have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing cut-off marks decided by IBPS. You will only be eligible for Mains after you pass Prelims.

You have to obtain a minimum score in each of the above test and also a minimum total score for getting selected.

Please note here that in the Mains exam, every section has a separate time duration. Whereas, in the case of the Preliminary exam, you have composite time for all parts.

Note: There is no interview in IBPS Clerk grade CWE VII exam 2017. Candidate clearing Prelims and Mains will be selected and will get allotment based on final merit list.

Negative Marking for wrong answers (Preliminary and Main examination)

All candidates must note that there will be negative marking or penalty for wrong answers in the Objective Tests. Every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks from the total marks.

If a question is left blank without any answer, then there will be no negative marking for that question. Candidate should build a strategy around this as this could be deciding factor of cracking IBPS CLERK Exam 2017 CWE VII.

IBPS Clerk 2017 Eligibility Criteria

Each candidate applying for IBPS Clerk 2017 Exam CWE VII should fulfil the IBPS minimum eligibility criteria specified in their advertisement. Nationality, education and age are the primary eligibility requirements.

Nationality

A candidate should be either

  • A Citizen of India or
  • A subject of Nepal or
  • A subject of Bhutan or
  • A refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that the Government of India has issued a certificate of eligibility. Countries which comes in the list are Tibet, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam.

Education Qualification

All candidates registering for IBPS CLERK exam 2017 must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university (by Govt. of India) or equivalent qualification from Central Government.

Computer Literacy

A computer system operating and working knowledge is mandatory. The candidate should have a diploma or a degree certificate in computer operations or Language.

Alternately, the candidate should have studied Computer or Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School or College or any Institute.

Proficiency in the Official Language of the State / UT

Candidate applying for IBPS Clerk vacancy, in a particular state or UT, shall know the official language of that state / UT. Knowing of language imply know how to read, write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT.

There is no minimum percentage required for the primary qualification. Any pass degree would stand well.

The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet or Degree Certificate before registering online i.e. before the last date of online registration.

Age Criteria

Age criteria for General Category are minimum 20 years, and the maximum is 28 years.

A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1989 and not later than 01.08.1997 (both dates inclusive)

IBPS Clerk Salary

IBPS CLERK Salary varies with the location, but the overall salary is around Rs. 20,000/- (Approximately). The overall salary has a few components like Basic pay, HRA, DA and CCA. 

IBPS Clerk Admit Card 2017

Candidates should download the IBPS CLERK 2017 admit card or call letter from the IBPS official website. You will not receive any hard copy of the IBPS CLERK Admit Card via post.
